Pinellas Bayway Trail

Another Beautiful Day in Paradise. We had a lovely spring day with temperatures in the low 70s, cloudy skies and a slight Southern breeze. Bladers/Bicyclers (back row left) Pam R, Dorey Anne, Rob H, Rick P & Ginnie S, Jim F, Dan C, Joel R, Dee T, Bill & Diana S, (front row left) Bruce M, Lorraine L, Linda C, Joseph W, Wilma F, Carol J and Jeff B. Welcome all. It was especially nice to see the Sun City group, Pam & Joel and Joseph again. We took the group picture in front of the Publix which is obviously being worked on. Rumors have it that it will be torn completely down and totally rebuilt. Since we were doing the Pinellas Bayway Trail for the first time we knew there would be some surprises/wrong turns. We did have some of both but overall I think everyone enjoyed the Pinellas Bayway Trail. Everyone did basically the 11.5 mile round trip. Those that went to the top of the inter coastal bridge did a few tenths of a mile more. There we 3 bladers and 15 bicyclers.

We Brunched at Skyway Jacks as planned. However there was a long waiting list, the Sun City group headed off and a few were headed to the Grand Prix so we ended up with only 6 for Brunch. We only had to wait about 20 minutes and we did get in and out within an hour. The service good but a little slow, the coffee flowed okay but the food was wonderful. We had several 10 ratings and a couple of 9.9s and few a little lower. We'll give Skyway Jacks a 9.9.
