1. We are looking for suggestions from the Skating community on a design to put on this year's T-shirts! We also hope to get something finished and available for everybody to wear before this summer. A prizes will be given to the first runner up and finalist of the best design.
Please send in your design before March 15th! You may submit your suggestions to us as a *.gif or *.jpg file to:
thebreeze@skatetampa.com.
If you would like to snail mail your design to us, let us know and we'll send you post office box info.
We are waiting to hear from you, so send in your suggestion early!

2. Thursday night skate in February is on Valentine's Day. There was a suggestion made to come out and dress up in Valentine colors (i.e. red, white, hearts, etc.). Since we've done so well with the star spangled banner skate with the red, white and blue last year, it maybe a great idea to do this again for the Valentines tradition.

3. Bill Jackson's schedule:
February; Gone Skiing! See you in March...
March 1st, Friday, 7pm; The Skyway Skate. Miles of uninterrupted fun with a view of the bay. Best of all, the Meisner Bridge! We'll turn around at the North fishing pier. Rest stop anyone? Meet: Outside Maximo Park. I-275 and Exit #3

4. National Skate Patrol
Hi Skate Buddies:
If anyone is interested in becoming a National Skate Patroller, please email me back, and I will get information to you. I am try to get a Chapter here for the Tampa Bay area, but I do need a minimum of skaters. Once I gather the necessary information, I will let those who are interested know what I have found out. Also, I would be honored, if this was to all come about, to be your Chapter Director.
It is an honor to be one, and a lot of fun too. I just love it. It is work, can be tiring at times, but it gives you such a rush when you have safely brought back 600 skaters to where they started from. As those of you who were in Miami this past weekend saw.
So, let me know and we can go from there.
